Happy 2012 (pt2)

Pop the champagne! After toasting, hugging and kissing, we went exploring around the house. Checked out the old pool, which was empty. Filtered the flowers out of the new pool.

Another interesting issue, was the fact that some dog strayed into the yard apparently in heat. Great for them, nothing like banging in the new year, but pretty annoying for us, because we couldn’t make the dog get away. Nature is nature, but c’mon, get a room!

Even so, I got to paint at least one nail for every person in the house, boys included. Proves to me that maybe nail painting can be the new face painting at parties…? Also proves to me that the drunker I get, the worse the designs get. If you are curious, you can see them here.

I also got to watch the sun rise on 2012, listening to the cotorras (the little green parrots they have native to here). Then when I woke up later in the afternoon, more pool and matés in the shade.

No better way to ring in the New Year!
